Sometimes the days seem to stretch into an endless afternoon…

and before you know it, it’s all a memory.

hot afternoons, the whirr and din of insects, sun pouring down like warm honey…

it’s a time to slow down and observe the wildflowers that grow through the cracks…

or stop and think about playing a tune…
